Ellen Moran

Girls Soccer Head Coach

Ellen Moran is the head coach of the Providence Academy girls soccer program. Prior to stepping into the head coaching role, Moran served as the varsity assistant coach for seven seasons, helping build the program to its first state championship in 2024. She has also coached youth soccer at the competitive club level with Salvo Soccer Club and Fusion Soccer Club. A Minnesota native from the south metro area, Moran played Division III collegiate soccer at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.

Ashley Vanselow

JV Head Coach

Ashley Vanselow is a JV coach at Providence Academy. She grew up in the area and played at Maple Grove High School, as well as on a competitive club team based in Wayzata. She continued her playing career at the collegiate level on a women’s competitive recreational team at University of Minnesota Duluth.

Prior to joining Providence Academy, Vanselow spent 10 years coaching at Edina High School as the girls sophomore team coach. Outside of coaching, she and her husband stay busy with their three children, who enjoy cheering on the team from the sidelines.
